On March 17, 2022, the “Young Eco-Patrol” group was established at Karshi State University in cooperation with the Kashkadarya Regional Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection.
Twenty students were selected from among those studying in the field of ecology and environmental protection at the university. The main objective of the “Young Eco-Patrol” group is to ensure ecosystem sustainability, contribute to the preservation of nature, and encourage their peers to take part in these meaningful environmental activities.
“Students involved in the ‘Young Eco-Patrol’ group are regularly encouraged and supported through the university’s Student Development Fund,” said E. Ibragimov, Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work at Karshi State University.

At the same time, through this activity, members of the “Young Eco-Patrol” group strengthen their field-related knowledge and practical experience. Certificates were awarded to the members of the “Young Eco-Patrol” group, and on the very first day of their new activity, they set an example for their peers by planting tree saplings with their own hands. On that day, a training session was also organized on the topic of the duties, rights, and responsibilities of the “Young Eco-Patrol” group members.
