Health and wellbeing services
On April 18, 2025, faculty members of the Medical Faculty carried out another community-based health initiative in Kasbi district aimed at strengthening public health and promoting preventive care. As part of the initiative, free medical screenings were organized at a local family polyclinic, where residents received basic health assessments, including blood pressure and blood glucose testing. Participants were also provided with guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and preventing common illnesses. Dedicated consultation sessions were held for women, focusing on reproductive health, proper nutrition, and preventive care practices. In collaboration with local healthcare workers, the team conducted outreach visits to elderly individuals and those with limited mobility. Their health conditions were assessed, and appropriate medical advice was given. Patients diagnosed with various health conditions were referred to district healthcare institutions for further examination and treatment. Based on the outcomes of the initiative, plans were developed to expand preventive programs and involve specialized medical professionals in future activities.
