Within the framework of the “Civil Society Week” in Kashkadarya region, a spiritual and educational event was held at the Abdulla Oripov Creative School in October 2024.. This initiative reflects the importance of building an active and inclusive civil society as a foundation for sustainable development.
The event featured an exhibition of handicrafts created by persons with disabilities, highlighting their talents and promoting social inclusion. In addition, cultural performances by national centers enriched the program and fostered intercultural dialogue within the community.
In 2025, the Public Fund for the Support of Civil Society Institutions allocated 1.8 billion UZS in grants to support such impactful initiatives, demonstrating a strong commitment to community development and civic participation.
For her active contribution to the project, Nigora Zokirjonovna Tokhirova, a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics of Karshi State University, was awarded a letter of appreciation by the regional governor.
These projects play a vital role in strengthening community ties, promoting inclusivity, and encouraging active civic engagement.
