Karshi State University’s Faculty of Pedagogy organized a special visit as part of a socially oriented educational program aimed at integrating students’ theoretical knowledge with practical experience in November 2024. This initiative contributes to the development of inclusive education, social responsibility, and practical skills.
Within the framework of the program, psychology students, led by the Dean’s Advisor on Women’s Issues, Umida O‘ngboeva, visited Specialized Boarding School No. 17 in Karshi for children who are deaf or hard of hearing. This visit provided students with the opportunity to work with children with special needs, understand their psychological characteristics, and apply inclusive approaches in practice.
During the visit, students engaged in interactive communication with the children and presented them with memorable gifts. In addition, musical performances prepared by the pupils added warmth and meaning to the event, while also helping students develop empathy, communication skills, and social awareness.
This educational initiative plays an important role in strengthening practice-oriented approaches within the university’s academic programs, preparing students for their future professional careers, and developing competencies for effective engagement with diverse groups in society.
