Working schedule of the trade union committee chairperson
- Workweek - 6 days (Monday-Saturday).
- Monday-Friday: from 09:00 to 18:00.
- Saturday (shortened working day): from 09:00 to 13:00.
- Lunch break: 13:00-14:00 (Monday-Friday).
- Sunday is a day off.
Reception days and procedures
- Tuesday: 10:00-13:00.
- Thursday: 14:00-17:00.
- No reception is held on Saturdays; this day is allocated for internal organizational work.
- In necessary cases, citizens and staff may be received outside scheduled hours.
Functions of the trade union committee
- Protects employees' labor rights.
- Supports employees in disputes with the employer.
- Provides assistance against unfair dismissal or disciplinary actions.
- Monitors workplace safety and comfort.
- Reviews issues related to working hours, rest, and leave.
- Assists in providing financial aid, benefits, and allowances.
- Organizes health improvement activities, including sanatoriums and holiday trips.
- Organizes celebrations, sports competitions, and various events.
- Participates in concluding collective agreements with the employer while protecting employees' interests.
- Protects students' interests and provides support on social assistance, scholarships, and living conditions.
- Promotes equal opportunities for all employees and students.
- Prevents discrimination based on gender, nationality, language, religion, or social status.
- Supports the creation of an accessible environment for persons with disabilities.
- Contributes to the development of inclusive education and workplace environments.
- Fosters mutual respect and tolerance among different groups.
